Have you ever noticed when you attend an event with only a DJ providing music how flat and lacking in energy or momentum the whole day is?..... The human connection of live music can completely change the atmosphere of your event and make it one of those special events that everyone remembers and talks about for months later.
The ambience and personal feel of live acoustic music make a fabulous and memorable night.

Mark has been providing live music for weddings and events for over 20 years. He is a fingerstyle percussive acoustic guitarist and vocalist taking great pride in his unique arrangements and sound to deliver a premium quality entertainment.  Mark also uses looped beats and foot percussion to create grooves so the dance floor is never empty. 

 Mark has a SONGLIST of over 300 songs from the 1960's to 2023. He takes requests on the spot and no performance is the same songs....He tailors the song choice to the audience and energy of the audience as it changes during the night. 

  Mark is very proud to be work with Jeremiah from Black Diamond DJ's to provide the whole package of live music, MC and DJ sets.    
We can travel Australia wide to play at your event.

Ceremony at Kiama Anglican Church & Reception at The Tavern Shellcove.
We originally had Mark booked for our July 2021 wedding that was postponed due to COVID. We were fortunate to be able to coordinate dates so that he could play for us last weekend. During the time spent rearranging our day, Mark was easy to communicate, very understanding and accommodating with our requests.  Mark played guitar and sung our chosen songs for our ceremony entrance/exit, plus our first dance. The tone for our reception was set by Mark's wonderful  set of live music. He then transitioned into our DJ to provide us with a fun filled night of dancing and singing. We are still receiving feedback from our family and friends on how wonderful Mark was and how much fun the night was. Mark also assisted my MC's (nieces)in surprising us, by providing backing music for them to sing a specially written song for Tom and I. A moment we won't forget. Mark I can't thank you enough for making our day that much more magical.

They were super impressed that you guys learnt achy breaky, that you covered our first dance and made it so personal, even though not 1 person knew that song ? They said the music over the canapes was awesome, and the way you sung as I walked down the aisle brought that extra emotion and you nailed it. Wow! What can I say? Mark is a one-man-band extraordinaire!
Mark certainly exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. His style of acoustic music for our civil ceremony was truly magical.It set the right mood.He adjusted the music to the pace of the ceremony. During our reception,he got the dance floor rocking.A truly memorable experience.
Communication with Mark was easy and he was open for ideas, such as singing Karaoke with us around a big bonfire towards the end of the night. Everyone had so much fun, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Mark and his trusty guitar. Thanks Mark!!

A surprise ceremony at home in Kiama.

We recently had Mark play at our wedding and it was perfect - He played the pre ceremony & ceremony part of the evening and all guests that attended were super impressed.  The choice of songs, the sound level of music were perfect. 
Mark was easy to deal with in the lead up to our event and even learnt an acoustic version of a specific song for me to walk down the aisle to. 
We can not recommend Mark highly enough and will definitely book him again for any future events we have.
