The Aussie Song Book is a personal favourite I love performing live.
Growing up I have fond memories of hearing their tunes on the radio. And let’s not forget about the Kiwi legends who have found a home in our hearts, like Split Enz, Crowded House, and Dragon!
I love how these songs take me back to a certain time and place in my life. Warm summer nights hanging out with mates going to see these bands at the pubs and clubs.
The Aussie Songbook is a celebration of great Australian song writing played in it's simplest form with an acoustic guitar, loop pedal and stomp box.
I play nothing but Classic Aussie Songs all night with the emphasis on fun, dance and crowd sing alongs.
A trip down memory lane for some of us including songs from bands like INXS, Australian Crawl, Men at Work, Cold Chisel, Richard Clapton, Ice House, GANGgajang Midnight Oil, The Angels, The Church and Paul Kelly to name a few. But also including the more modern Aussie composers like Vance Joy, Boy and Bear, Pete Murray, Angus and Julia Stone, Powder Finger, Bernard Fanning, Eskimo Joe. etc.
